Have you read the novel Laskar Pelangi? It’s not complete if you not watching Laskar Pelangi The Movie

Visualization of the members Laskar Pelangi in the novel Laskar Pelangi (Andrea Hirata) to Laskar Pelangi The Movie (RIri Reza and Mira Lesmana Production) is quite interesting. I have not read the full stories from the novel, but I will try to read (I don’t have the book, Can I borrow the book please?) :).

From the technical side, this movie worked on neatly. Cinematographers Yadi Sugandhi has a display pictures and beautiful concept well. From the idea, this movie using the various problems evident in the way to make people have a clear vision with and can be enjoyed.

But, from the plot of the story I think the director can’t focus on the theme of the stories. Education for poor people. The theme’s split up to many sub-story that sometimes not very clear and not useful to build up the main story. Except for the people who’s read Novel Laskar Pelangi.
